A woman called my landline from this number today claiming to be from BT. She said there were concerns my Internet connection had been hacked and wanted to go through the computer with me. However she didn't ask for me by name just said 'Is this the main billpayer'? Then when I asked for more information before logging onto my laptop she got agitated. I then felt suspicious and asked her to send me a letter explaining what exactly was wrong and what needed doing before we went any further. She got very agitated then and said she didn't have time to do that and needed to sort the connection now. This seemed a real red flag so I hung up and did 1471 which came up with this number. I believe it wasn't a genuine call.
