Caller claimed to be from Vodafone, calling about a discount I would be getting on my account. Quite convincing, gave a lot of details about the new contract I would be getting.
However, caller said that I would receive a special code for the discount, and asked me to check my messages. I said I'd do that after I got off the call, but caller insisted I had to check while on the call. I said that, if calling from Vodafone, they should be able to apply the discount remotely. At that point, the caller ended the call.
